About Me.

I am 32 and have recently moved into Northumberland which is in the North East of England.
I have fished for freshwater and sea fish since I was a tall enough to hold a rod and reel. In the last few years I have spent most of my fishing time angling for Brown Trout and Grayling using the fly. I live within walking distance of the River Blyth and fish on around 5 miles club water. The North East of England has some fantastic fishing, so come here! The rivers such as the Tees, Wear, Tyne, Blyth, Wansbeck and the Croquet having excellent Coarse and Game fish. Apart from fishing in my region I also take a rod abroad on Holiday.

I respect the traditional art of fly fishing and the river Blyth has it's own local flies, but also I enjoy tying the light fantastic. I often catch fish on lures you would associate with lake fishing in high water conditions, so give it a go? After all most lake lures look like large Sea Trout and Salmon flies. If you have any outlandish flies that work on the river spread the word.
